APRIL/MAY 2009:
TWO AWESOME MONTHS WITH EPISODES OF "WE SHALL REMAIN" On PBS

What a wonderful experience to see these epic stories told through the eyes of the Native American Indian People.

Carla-Rae has received so much positive feedback for her part in this awesome series, including folks explaining how they never knew much of the information that was shared in each episode. Also, how thrilled people were that such fine well known, Native Actors, as well as newcomers, took part in the series to help bring the stories to life. Thank you to all who have taken time to send your comments.

Many Libraries and Schools are using the "WE SHALL REMAIN" episodes, complete with facts and questions, for their students and library programs. How exciting.

"WE SHALL REMAIN: Synopsis:

At the heart of the project is a five-part television series that shows how Native peoples valiantly resisted expulsion from their lands and fought the extinction of their culture – from the Wampanoags of New England in the 1600’s who used their alliance with England to weaken rival tribes, to the bold new leaders of the 1970's who harnessed momentum of the civil rights movement to forge a pan-Indian identity. WE SHALL REMAIN represents an unprecedented collaboration between Native and non-Native filmmakers and involves Native advisors and scholars at all levels of the project.

Check out the Official WE SHALL REMAIN website for all the details:
