CARLA-RAE (Beshaw Pronounced BEE SHAW) HOLLAND, a SAG, AFTRA and AEA, actress, has an acting career that spans 20 years. From high school days to present Carla-Rae has been involved in some form of acting.
Born in upstate New York Carla-Rae is of Seneca/Mohawk French Canadian heritage. At the age of 10, after the loss of her mother to cancer,  Carla-Rae was raised by her older sister and is still part of a close knit family of older siblings.

It was in Massachusetts in her high school years that Carla-Rae will tell you, "the acting BUG bit", doing high school plays. She also worked on school video performances. From there she attended Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts, with her course of study being Communications Arts and Science/Speech and Theatre. While in college and shortly after, Carla-Rae did regional plays, local and regional commercials, industrial training videos and modeling.

She was actually in Charlotte, NC on a photo shoot when she met her husband Ricky during a church service at a local Charlotte church. Together they have two sons. Carla-Rae home schooled her sons. During that time Carla-Rae continued doing local and regional work and picked up a few day parts in feature films being shot in NC. In addition, Carla-Rae began to teach the skills she had studied and experiences she had faced in the acting field, on her own,  and in several talent schools. When her sons were finished with their home education. Carla-Rae knew it was time to pursue the career she so loved. Fueled by the support of her family, her own personal training, and the no nonsense,  positive motivation and faith,  that keeps her in focus, Carla-Rae went full speed ahead.

She and her husband Ricky keep busy, on both coasts, and wherever her full time acting career takes them.  Her most recent work has been guest star on the New ABC series "SCOUNDRELS" starring Virginia Madsen and David James Elliot. Carla-Rae was the character of Cahuilla native Mrs. T. who had some great scenes, including one hilarious scene with talented Tatanka Means. Also, she starred in PBS five part mini series "WE SHALL REMAIN" in the role of Susanna Ridge in Episode 3: The Trail of Tears.  Also, in HBO TV film "Taking Chance" starring Kevin Bacon as Lt Michael Strobel. Fox TV series "New Amsterdam" in the pilot episode at the Native Lenape Medicine Woman and in Independent Feature Film, "IMPRINT' as Rebecca Stonefeather,  the supporting lead. "IMPRINT"will be available on DVD February 10, 2009.

Carla-Rae has continued to garner roles on stage, off-Broadway, as well, with leading roles in "The House of Bernarda Alba" directed by Lenny Delgado of Liguorian Players and "Edith Stein" by Arthur Giron and recently in a play reading series at Native Voices at the Autry in Los Angeles. Carla-Rae also has a music cd called "Glimpses" which was recorded by David Robinson of the former Stonelayer Studios in NC.

Rounding out her skills, Carla-Rae is also a Commercial Actress and Print Model. So be looking for her on the small screen and in print ads.
